Understanding Bullying
Different Forms of Bullying

Verbal bullying is the use of mean words to hurt a person such as using vulgarities on another person, calling them names that hurts or teasing the person repeatedly.

Physical bullying is the use of violence to a person or their personal belongings such as hitting, punching, shoving, extortion, throwing of things, destroying one’s property or belongings

Relational bullying is causing hurt to a person by damaging one’s reputation or relationships with others such as spreading rumors, asking others not to befriend him/her, social exclusion/isolation.

Cyberbullying is using the Internet, cell phones, video game systems, or other technology to send or post text or images intended to hurt or embarrass another person.
